project 02

Westcoast Coffee Company, a business set up to capitalise on the burgeoning coffee-drinking market in Ireland, needed to set itself apart from its competitors from day one. With this in mind, Artworks designed a striking logo which immediately stood out from the crowd. Using the logo, corporate colours and a distinct typeface for its menus, cups, leaflets, vouchers. etc., Artworks consolidated the West Coast Coffee brand from the first day of trading, introducing a start-up company to Dublin on time and on budget.

project 03

With the takeover of DHL by Deutsche Post, Artworks were tasked by it’s marketing manager and WHPR to undertake the production of the bulk of its new marketing material (folders, inserts, stationary etc.). This project included the production of all of the printed material used for what was to be one of the biggest European launch events in Dublin and included special invitations, podium design and ancillary products. Artworks was one of the only European design companies who managed to consistently reproduce the distinct orange colour which was used across all of the signage of the new entity.

project 04

Ariel House Hotel(09)-1

Ariel House Hotel, a unique boutique-style hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin, required an upgraded brochure which reflected the ethos of the upmarket hotel while at the same time keeping a tight control of the overall marketing budget. With this in mind Artworks used the stunning interior and exterior of the building and built up a new photographic database which was used to enhance the brochure and also to give the hotel a huge selection of photographs which it could use across all areas of its marketing thus establishing a distinct visual identity.

project 06

Comboni Missionaries, the official publication of the Verona Fathers, is a full colour magazine delivered in the UK and Ireland, with a print run of over 20,000. The magazine illustrates the sometimes hazardous role their missionaries play all over the world, especially in Africa, South America and Asia. This, in turn, promotes donations and bequests, thus helping to aid in the ongoing work in those areas. The editor, based in London, supplies the editorial content and photographs. Part of our brief is to enhance, or, on occasion, source new photographic material. Artworks are responsible for the overall project: design, layout, proofing, print management and distribution of the publication. We also produce a yearly calendar (over 30k) and other publications such as special commemorative issues or etc.
